The numbers.

The commercial argument for metal is run on three lines of an opex worksheet:

• Energy. A reflective Kynar 500 PVDF coating with a high SRI (solar reflectance index) cuts roof-load HVAC consumption 10-30% in Arizona. On a 40,000 sq ft warehouse, that’s tens of thousands of kilowatt-hours a year.
• Insurance. UL 2218 Class-4 impact rating and UL 790 Class-A fire rating qualify the building for premium discounts with most commercial carriers. Underwriters know the metal-roof loss curve.
• Life cycle. Asphalt and TPO membranes are 12-20 year systems on a commercial deck. A standing-seam metal roof is a 30-50 year system. Over the same 30 years, you re-roof TPO twice and metal once. The metal gets recycled instead of landfilled.

How a commercial order runs.

1. You send specs. Drawings, spec sheet, panel call-out, gauge, coating, color, project address. We accept PDF, DWG, or a marked-up site visit.
2. We quote. Panels by run length, trims, accessories, freight to site. Quote is good for 30 days.
3. We fabricate. In-house roll-form to your exact run length. 24-gauge Galvalume, your spec.
4. We drop. Banded and tarped on flatbed, set on site or at your contractor’s lay-down yard anywhere in Arizona.
5. Your GC installs. Either your roofing sub of choice, or, if you need one, we’ll connect you with a certified commercial installer in our network. The 45-year install warranty applies when our installer does the work.
